This collection contains papers of John Ribelin, a resident of Montgomery and Grant Counties, Kentucky. Included are accounts, and several indentures concerning the sale of land. Most concern Montgomery County, but an 1851 indenture for land in Gallatin and Grant counties is also present. Other materials include one business letter to Ribelin (1850), a copy of a poem he wrote, bill of sale for land and a slave sold by Absolom Hughes to George Johnson (1816), and a survey of land (1846).
